Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health (UM6SS) belongs to the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS). It has institutions in Casablanca, Rabat, Dakhla, Agadir and Marrakech, in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and health professions, health engineering, public health, veterinary medicine, biosciences and biotechnology. The Foundation also runs university hospitals, research centres and laboratories.

Existing cooperation
On 6 December 2017, UM6SS signed a convention on cooperation in medical sciences with the Chinese Academy of Engineering (中国工程院): joint seminars, study visits, academic exchanges and exchange of publications.
